| Understanding
the "Logic" of Logical Consequences |
|
WORKSHOP - Especially
helpful for those who wish to use a positive approach and logical
consequences when discipline is required, but struggle to 'come
up' with successful ones. Workshop highlights an in-depth look
at the concept of logical consequences: participants learn the
four R's of consequence effectiveness, and to recognize and

| Raising
Self-Reliant Children in a Self-Indulgent World |
|
This eight-session
course takes the issues of parenting and teaching children to
a whole new level! The focus is on insights and practices which
serve as a guide for the often-nebulous challenge of rearing
and teaching children to become self-reliant individuals. Course
content goes beyond issues of discipline to feature methods
for building self esteem, and for teaching responsibility, cooperation,
initiative, judgment, and self-discipline. Participants learn
an approach which promotes closeness, and inspires dignity and
mutual respect. An inspiring series for parents of children
all ages; a must for parents of teens. (Ages 1-16) This course
is a natural follow-up for the Parenting Skills That Work class.
We recommend parents who enroll for this course have either
completed the Parenting Skills That Work course, or have a basic
understanding of Adlerian Principles from prior study.
