February 2012 Class Schedule

Tearless Discipline

The content of this three-session workshop features information which provides an understanding of child behavior and 'misbehavior', effective methods of preventing and correcting unacceptable behavior. Participants learn sound principles and proven methods which enable them to increase effectiveness in parenting or working with children. 'Tearless' discipline skills are immediately useful for eliminating power struggles, setting effective limits, and gaining cooperation - without reminding or yelling. Discipline approaches foster self-discipline, mutual respect, and promote positive self esteem - simultaneously. (Ages 2-14)
